This position is responsible for planning and preparing client meals, as well as overseeing all food service related operations within the program.  This role ensures that adequate food products and supplies are available on site at all times, advocates for the nutritional needs and dietary preferences of clients, and ensures that all sanitary and safety precautions are followed in the preparation and maintenance of the kitchen and food storage/preparation areas of the facility.     Essential Duties & Functions - Ensure that an adequate inventory of food, beverage and related supplies are maintained for the program (must have a 3-day supply of food and water at all times). - Monitor, order and purchase food supplies as needed for program on weekly basis. - Develop and maintain menus in accordance with dietary needs of clients and established clinical/company standards. - Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and all food storage/preparation areas in accordance with company standards. - Ensure proper sanitation and storage procedures are followed by all staff in the storage and preparation of all foods. - Train new staff, as needed, in proper food service/handling methods and in conjunction with the dietary needs of clients. - Create and/or recommend new methods and recipes in the creation of client meals. - Ensure that meals are prepared and served to clients in an organized and timely manner. - Maintain kitchen area with all needed ingredients, cooking equipment and appropriate safeguards to ensure efficient and consistent sanitary meal preparation. - Ensure that all food and related items are stored properly to minimize waste and maintain freshness. - Maintain inventory recordkeeping and control system to prevent against unnecessary loss or spoilage. - Observe and test prepared food items to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling and/or piercing them with appropriate utensils. - Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement, using appropriate kitchen utensils and equipment. - Season and cook food according to preparation instructions or professional judgement and experience. - Demonstrates ability to identify changes in clients’ behavioral, medical, emotional, cognitive, and physical condition and alert applicable team members for appropriate care as needed. - Completes all program specific administrative responsibilities as needed (e.g., training, payroll/time reporting, current licensure/certification documentation, etc.).  

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the needs in our Georgia programs. This position provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within designated site. The nurse in this role is responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients; the nurse designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence based practice and principles to promote health and medical stability. The nurse also provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. The Registered Nurse directs the practice of the LPN and/or CMA's on the unit. May participate in program’s on-call rotation.

The Shift Coordinator supervises neurobehavioral counselors/techs and participates in observing, reporting and recording of client behaviors while under the direct supervison of the Behavior Program Coordinator and responsible to the Nurse Manager. Share responsibility with the Charge Nurse for providing a safe and secure unit environment for all clients and staff. Must be in compliance with center policies and procedures.   Major Functions: - Coordinates all unit activities, provides direct feedback to neurobehavioral Counselors/Techs regarding client care and implementation of Transdiscipinary Plans. - Observes, reports and records client's behavior providing modeling for neurobehavioral counselors/techs and feedback to the Behavior Program Coordinator as requested. - Assists in the delivery of physical care as needed. Provides training to neurobehavioral counselors/techs as needed. - Assists in the treatment and rehabilitation of neuralgic, psychiatric and chemically dependent clients in accordance with the Transdisciplinary Team treatment plan, unit philosophy and program policies. - Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn new procedures and develop new skills - Maintains a professional and ethical code of behavior - Works with other staff in teaching and developing skills and groups. - Works independently with minimal follow-up from direct supervisor - Leads and co-leads groups as necessary, providing feedback and training if NBT's lead or co-lead groups. - Assists in the maintenance of the unit environment regarding in compliance with policies for safety and security Ensures that environmental checks are completed. - Attends mandatory in-services which will be reviewed by the Neurobehavioral Coordinator and deemed necessary by the Nurse Manager. - Is required to meet light to moderate physical demands. - Attends all staff meetings as scheduled.  

We are searching for a Full Time Physical Therapist for our Gilroy, CA location. The therapist will provide group and individual physical therapy services to clients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychology, physical, speech and occupational therapies. This position also trains staff in any necessary techniques or procedures regarding client mobility and pedestrian safety status. The Direct Support Professional provides direct care services to persons with disabilities who are consumers of Learning Services.  Encompassed within the direct care services is the delivery of behavioral training designed to modify the consumer’s behavior.  These services are delivered continuously throughout the working day. These services may take place in the facility or in the community, and encompass activities related to all aspects of daily living. We are searching for a Full Time Neuropsychologist to work primarily in our residential programs in Roswell and Lilburn, GA providing individual and group therapy in a post-acute brain injury rehabilitation program, as well as cognitive/neuropsychological assessments to guide treatment planning. The psychologist also provides assessment and treatment for clients in our residential programs as referred. Clients are coping with various psychological issues including adjustment disorder, depression/anxiety, PTSD, family stressors, personality disorders, abuse and substance abuse histories.  The psychologist is a member of the multidisciplinary team and works collaboratively with therapists, physicians, clients, families and funders to support client outcomes and program development; there is an opportunity to provide educational presentations and supervise psychology students.    Essential Duties & Functions - Using psychological counseling, the counselor assists the client in the development of skills and strategies to alleviate distress, resolve crises and adjust to current circumstances and disability. - Demonstrates ability to support clients in difficult situations (e.g. refusal of activities, medications, and strategies). - Works directly with the client and provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote the client’s success in achieving identified treatment goals. - Assess and implement suicidality protocol and provides crisis management assistance to clients and programs as needed. - Train/educate families, funders, employers, significant others as needed to support the treatment and discharge plan. - Completes therapy evaluation and interfaces with treatment team to set up initial treatment plan and establish priority treatment goals. - Develop and implement therapy services which meet the needs/goals of clients, the program, interrelate with other disciplines and supports ReMed’s philosophy. - Responsible for monitoring the client’s treatment plan and progress towards goals; provides problem solving, conflict resolution and revision of goals and treatment plan as necessary. - Assess, develop, and monitor, as needed adaptive equipment and/or compensatory strategies based on the treatment and discharge plans. - Responsible for teaching other team members strategies needed to support the client’s treatment plan. - Assists RCM and team in discharge planning process, assessing and securing needed services, modifying strategies for discharge setting, and educating caregivers. - Leads groups as appropriate, may include BI education, self awareness, problem solving, communication and mobility issues. - Participates in team meetings and/or provides necessary information and interfaces with treatment team to establish rehabilitation goals and coordinates treatment necessary to support client’s treatment plan. - Assist team in remaining focused on goals and discharge plan. - In collaboration with the RCM/Clinical Specialist/Director, identifies and consults with physicians and other health care providers outside of the primary treatment team as needed. - Writes monthly treatment plan reports according to guidelines and time frames in the Goal Writing manual and documents therapy sessions on session notes as they occur. - Records the accurate date and length of each client contact or service in the program file or monthly billing sheet according to program guidelines. - Prioritizes tasks to balance direct client treatment, staff communication, program responsibilities and written documentation. - Takes responsibility for seeking out current information regarding clients program and ReMed information (e.g., staff comm., rounds summaries, meeting minutes, client strategies, postings, memos, etc.). - Ensures consistent implementation of strategies through teaching team members, eliciting feedback from team members, and reviewing log notes. - Participates in problem solving with the team and supports the clinical team decision making process. - Complies with professional standards and state regulations regarding treatment. - Keeps current with professional certification/licensing requirements and participates in continuing education. - Keeps abreast of new developments, trends and treatment modalities in area of specialization.
