We are searching for a Full TimeBehavior Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Lakewood, CO. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury. In addition to aiding residents with their daily activities, Behavior Technicians administer behavioral training and interventions designed to modify residents’ behavior.  These services, delivered continuously throughout the day, may take place in one of our programs or out in the community, and encompass activities related to all aspects of daily living.   Duties: - Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation. - Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis. - Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities. - Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community. - Administers residents' medication programs. - Interacts with residents' family and visitors in the facility and on home visits. - Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports). - Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).

The Shift Coordinator supervises neurobehavioral counselors/techs and participates in observing, reporting and recording of client behaviors while under the direct supervison of the Behavior Program Coordinator and responsible to the Nurse Manager. As a Part-Time Rehab Patient Care Tech you will be: - Working collaboratively with the rehab team and with the patients you are assigned  - Providing care and assistance for our patients to promote their success in daily living tasks, mobility and exercise and recreational and community based activities - Assisting the individuals with cognitive exercises and orientation - Overseeing and assisting with AM/PM routines as needed (including wake-up, showering, hygiene and breakfast, medications) and other patient care tech/nursing assistant activities     Benefits include, but are not limited to: - Intensive, on-going training - Comprehensive benefit package (medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) and more) - Tuition reimbursement - COVID Testing, PPE Training and Supplies Provided
