Join the excitement of a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury!  Learning Services, a Collage Rehabiliation Partner is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other.  For more than 32 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries.  We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. Our CARF accredited, post acute residential, vocational and outpatient programs are offered in 10 states across the country. 

 

Responsibilities

We are searching for a Full Time Physical Therapist for our Gilroy, CA location. The therapist will provide group and individual physical therapy services to clients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychology, physical, speech and occupational therapies. This position also trains staff in any necessary techniques or procedures regarding client mobility and pedestrian safety status. Specific areas of treatment may include, but are not limited to: vestibular issues, pain management, cervicogenic issues, flexibility and/or strength deficits, balance disorders, and development of home exercise programs.

$75-$80 per hour.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Completion of a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and PT license or eligibility in California is required; master or doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred. Vestibular certification and/or training is a plus. Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders in community based settings is strongly preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required. Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must. A valid driver's license, car and current automobile insurance are required.
