This experienced administrator will oversee operations for our facilities in Raleigh, NC. For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries.We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN).   In this role you will be responsible for: planning and provision of comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients and delivery of medical regimens prescribed for those patients by a licensed physician; and participation in the identification and implementation of best nursing practices. The RN also provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. The Nurse on the Rehabilitation Team contributes to and implements evidence-based treatment strategies that are related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.

 

The position provides for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Standards for Nursing Practice.

 

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a RN is required.  1-2 years’ experience in nursing is preferred
  • Demonstrated accountability and skills in analysis, problem solving, decision making, related to medical nursing skills and time management required
  • The ability to communicate in writing and verbally with families, clients, staff and physicians is a must
  • A valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
